I've never been a big Othello fan, but I've found this game to be quite enjoyable. True to its format, this adaptation is simple enough to allow for quick iPhone play, yet has enough features to make it a potential mainstay in your gaming library.
My main is gripe is the difficulty. Easy is quite easy, and then intermediate is a huge ramp up in difficulty. It would be nice if the curve was a little more forgiving, or perhaps I'm simply too novice of a player. The other issue is that the hint feature isn't very useful. It doesn't give you the best option, it simply gives you an option available to you (which is really only useful if you don't know how to play the game).
Overall, a great effort. I'll definitely be keeping this one around.
